Announcing the Largest Extension of the Secondary Archive!

🌸We are thrilled to unveil the biggest extension of the Secondary Archive, dedicated to female-identifying artists from Central and Eastern Europe! This new edition is made possible through the collaboration of 10 international partners, further strengthening the platform’s mission to spotlight female voices across the region.
This expansion marks the third extension with the Visegrad Group countries – Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia – and the second extension with Albania, Kosovo, and Serbia. Additionally, we are excited to welcome new partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia into the archive.
📌 The archive grows with:
15 Polish artists
11 Hungarian artists
10 Czech artists
8 Slovak artists
5 Kosovar artists
11 Albanian artists
14 Serbian artists
18 Montenegrin artists
24 Macedonian artists
32 Bosnian artists
To provide a deeper contextual understanding, the curators from our new partner countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro – have committed to publishing essays that will offer a comprehensive insight into the artistic, cultural, and social landscape of their regions.
